Masses of Matted Bush-pea

In the Little Forest section of the Bungal Forest, south of Mt Egerton on Sunday there were carpets of the Matted Bush-pea, Pultenaea pedunculata. This prostrate shrub has masses of small flowers to 8mm and is wide spread in dry forests. The downside of the visit was widespread damage observed being caused by cup moth larva. Hundreds of hectares are being impacted.
