Bark Removers

On a recent trip to Horseshoe Bend, south of Dimboola on the Wimmera River in the Little Desert, we noticed a tree that cockatoos or galahs had been working on.  The bark chips formed a layer around the base of the tree. It is common to see patches of bark removed particularly on River Red Gums but this was a major project.
